I have a dell dimension 3000 with windows xp media center addition on it and 1gb of ram. I only have pci ports available, so I was wondering if it is possible to have dual pci graphics cards? Like two geforce fx 5500's. If so, would there be a significant gain in performance when playing games?

I added a DVD drive to my computer, which is E drive now. When I try to copy somthing to the CD,(D drive), it will not let me copy? It will copy only in DVD drive.....Is that ok? Will I be able to use the same CD to add more stuff later on, like pictures & etc.? Or can I make my CD drive default for copying pictures & etc.? If so, how?
Thanks>

Is this enough memory for a computer to run all these hard drives?
It's running three hard drives
200 GB
20 GB As the main one for running windows XP
20GB
512 MB Ram Memory..
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3200 + 2.1 GHz

Ever since I put my computer like this, it's slower....So I was wondering if I had to change the ram memory for at least 1GB? or is it something else?

I got my answer on not loosing anything on my slave drive when I replace the master. But do I attach the slave before or after I reformat the new master drive? My husband thinks he should just do the master, when everything is up and running then re-attach the slave drive. But I'm afraid the new master wont like that. Help!

I want to get a dvd/cd burner/drive for my computer, internal, I think I can install it with no probs but I really dont know anything about them. My cd burner drive is about shot so I want to replace it and upgrade to dvd. I won't use it a ton, mainly for burning pictures. I have slow dial up so downloading movies to burn is out of the question :-( I want to spend as little money as possible too! I dont need all the bells and whisles if there going to be expensive.
Any thoughts on a good drive for me? Or where I can go to get some good info on dvd drives? Thanks, I appricate any answers or help!
