my uncle has a windows 98 computer and hes trying to get a pci adapter so he can get cable internet to the computer where can i get one of these ?

What you need is an network interface card not a pci adapter. You can get them at any retailers like Best Buy, Wal-Mart,......They are not expensive at all.

What you need is a PCI NIC (network Interface card) for the network cable. These are under $10 new or fairly close. Here is one example

Good luck trying to get something to work with Windows 98 though - even Microsoft stopped supporting it. You'll find most drivers need Windows 98SE at the very least - some need Windows XP SP2.
