i think it is but ive bought one for 150 that wasnt (it was a radeon 9550) and it wouldnt play any games why not.... the one i want is a nvidia geforce fx6600, its got 512mb, and 2000 and some odd pixel by another couple 1000, is it good enough to play starwars knights of the old republic

it will work,nvidia 6600,with 512mb.the game will play alone.it will work fine,u can also look in the game "read me" to find what r the requirment for the video card and what models r supported,this is better for u before u buy.

Both video card, depending on the rest of your specs. Are fine for playing that game. But you need to make sure you meet the folloring criteria. First, make sure your video drivers are updated. Second, Make sure you are running the most current version of direct X.Third make sure the game is updated. There should be no reason why either of those cards would no play the game. Just make sure everything is updated.

The 6600 is pretty good, I just got the 7800 for about $230 and I love it. I have heard of the game you r talking about, but have never played it.
