I'm trying to move some word files from my old computer with win 98 on it, it is not connected to the internet, and it has a cd reader only, with usb, my new computer is hooked to the internet and has win xp. I'm trying to use a SanDisk flash drive which requires a driver from the net for use with win 98. My old computer will not see the driver file on the cd.

You don't have a diskette drive?

The old computer have a ethernet adapter? If both pc's have, use a crossover cable and connect to each other. The tow pc's need to have the same workgroup name.

Download the driver files and burn them to disc without extracting them or anything, just the file you got off the net. When you put the burnt disc into your old computer, the file should be seen and you can install on that computer from the CD.
