I'm planning on getting a laptop when I get enough money, which I'm hoping will be sometime when I'm 16 or 17 because when I get my laptop I'm planning on getting the Internet hooked up once I get the laptop. well, i have a evga nvidia 680i sli motherboard and a core 2 quad 2.4ghz cpu. im in the process of overclocking my cpu and was wondering how hot it would have to be to fry. the mother board and the cpu.

What am i supposed to do?
ok so i bought this laptop http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?... and it was great until the screen blacked out, if u read one of the reviews is says:

"I had some issue that made the screen black. I would have to manually push the on/off button to get the monitor to work again. I read that other Toshibas laptops have had this problem. To fix this problem I turned the Processor setting up. It seemed to do the trick. No more black screen. Are any of you having this issue? Other than that this unit is a steal."

so how do i turn the processor setting up?? can u tell me step by step where to go and wat to do??

Hi ppl! Anyone know where and how to get a trident cyber9397 video accelerator driver? I'm going to buy a MSI K9A2 PLATINUM 790FX (AM2+) motherboard

I know it is crossfire compatable but can i use a GeForce 8800GT with it even tho its not Crossfire compatable. I dont want to run it in SLI. i just want this one gfx card to work!

also, must i really use vista with the 8800GT or will that only become important once some directx10 games come out?

I'm thinking of purchasing a Sony VAIO VGN-FZ260E/B, but really not clear on the 1080HD labeling. The screen resolution is 1280x800, but is that enough to tell its HD when watching a blu-ray movie? Does screen resolution need to be better to tell the difference?

What are the main physical differences between a laptop wireless adapter and a desktop one? I think that the ones with an antenna are for laptop only and ones without (just a plug in card) are for desktop?

i have a acer aspire 5570 laptop which i purchased late septemeber 2007
and recently evey time i turn it on it says the message
a disk read error occured...
now i tried starting all over again but it logs on freezes and turns off again...
does anyone know y this is happening
and better yet does anyone know how to fix this??

I bought a 640MB Video card online. but I recieved it in a Retail box that was from a 320MB card. and someone wrote 640MB on the front.
This purchase is the second video card, So I can go SLi, I put it in my computer and put the link between the chips, I know for a fact in PCIE slot 1 is a 640, what i dont know is how many MB the second card is.

At this point the computer is working and I was able to enable SLi Does that mean automaticly that I have 2 640MB cards ?

how do I know ?
