I have a laptop, and i have seen that in school they have laptops that are connected somehow with a printer, but they dont have any wires. I would like to know how can i do that? I want to connect my printer with my laptop, but i want to make it wireless

I have a Lenovo PC running Windows Vista; it came with a 250GB hard drive. What I want to do is switch the HDD for a smaller one, say 40GB, just big enough to keep the system files and programs, then take the 250GB HDD and put it in an external box to be used exclusively for storing data....I will keep everything that's already in it, just in case.
My ?? is: Do I just copy everything (all the system files and programe) to the new HDD and then assign it as primary, or are ther additional steps that I should take.

Hi! I just installed vista on my laptop and want to make use of the media center TV option. But my laptop doesnt have a built in tv tuner... is there any such thing as an external TV tuner, so i dont have to open my laptop or anything. also im wondering if u could input stuff into these tv tuner things like lets say a Wii? I recently switched from desktop to laptop. I download Audiobooks on CD that I borrow from my local library BUT have found that the security stickers the library puts on the CDs to prevent thefts make the CD too big for the wafer thin space my laptop allows in it's CDrom drive. The drive won't recognize the CD as a CD and so I'm unable to download it at best and at worst it freezes up my computer.
I've seen external DVD writing drives but are there external CDrom reading drives that I could use to rip CDs to my laptop and then transfer to my MP3 player?

I have an EasyNote R0422 (Packard Bell) And the sound isnt working. I tried downloading the sound driver from the site, and it doesnt make any difference. Any volume controls just say that basically there isnt a sound card. Any help please?

I got this chip from a friends computer and I know it works, but it has a few bent pins, and it's missing 2 of its heatsink pads (the round black pads in the corners).

If I straighten the pins with plyers, would the chip still work?

And are the heatsink pads that important?

I have just switched on my work PC this evening and there doesn't appear to be any output from the tower to the monitor, keyboard or mouse. The monitor is working fine as I have checked it on my laptop, but the PC will not work. It was fine yesterday, but if it is not fine when i hand it in on Monday I'm in deep s***. Please help!
