What season/holiday of the year are laptops cheaper?

like a discount or something, i might buy an apple but im not sure since they are a bit expensive

i have an hp pc but i need a laptop for school and it would be best if its an apple because i will have to use design programms

Late-July/Early August (back-to-school) is usually when computer discounts are best, but electronics stores will have sale prices throughout the year. Check out the after Thanksgiving Day sales if you dare. It's pure madness, but you'll find some decent bargains.

Since you mentioned Apple, I should point out that Macs aren't as competitively priced as PCs. You could make the argument that they're a good deal because you're getting a better machine, but you should expect to spend a bit more than if you bought a PC. Also, you're less likely to find a bargain-basement price on Apple merchandise.
