Is this a fair trade for a $250 laptop?

I need a laptop for school but I'm pretty much broke. I had an idea of trading my almost brand-new microsoft zune and $50 to whoever will give me a laptop.. I have a few offers on craigslist.com but I want to know if I should give more or less..

It could be fair but better check very well what is being offered to you. Somebody might just pass on his miserable laptop to you on such a trade.
