Does anyone know if either the HP LaserJet 1300 or LaserJet 1320 can be used to do duplex printing? (Printing on both sides of the same sheet of paper without manually turning the paper over.)

Since reinstalling Windows XP on my PC, I have found that, on my keyboard, @ and" have swapped places and I can no longer get the pound sterling sign. Anyone know how to remedy this?

Hi,

I have a TOSHIBA LAPTOP (Satellite L10). I was having some power problems with it, sent it back to the place frm where I bought it and they changed the system board.

Now everything is working Fine, except system time and date. System time is not correct. Whenever I set the system time, after half an hour / hour, it shows wrong time & it keeps on moving very slow & most of the times it show several hours late w.r.t original time.

I updated the BIOS, tryed new installation (Windows XP Professional), but nothing seems to be working. What should I do ???

I have an Optorite DVD/CD Writer. I brought it last year, but now I can not find the CD that came with it. The Model Number is
TED80Y2. It worked when I formatted the hard drive and put XP back on. But now it isn't reconized. I went to the company site, but I couldn't fine any drivers. I would appricate any help that anyone might be able to give to me.

Contacted HP support, told me that my hard drive is dead. And stupid me, do not have recovery discs made.

Is this a lost cause?

I purchased a cpu-vga set motherboard from an on-line store and was wondering if the standard resolution of 640x480 at 16 colors was the max it can handle. I only need it for office work - but more than 16 colors would be really nice. Who only needs 16 colors any more?

It could just be my Dell laptop. It doesn't need an updated driver, etc. Checked all the settings and sensitivity. Nothing that I can see wrong I just started having issues with it in the last two days. It will drift off the screen and I can't get it back. Or it will stay at the top and only go left and right.

I have an older home built pc. I don't know how to check the motherboard to see how much RAM it can take. Currently it has a 128MB and 64MB chip and operates XP home well. I would like to add more RAM. Is there an internet website that can test your computer? Or any number I can look for?

When I checked with Windows Manager it says "dll.exe" is using about 99% of the CPU's memory. I'm using Windows XP, a pentium processor, about 1 GB RAM, 1.5-2 GHZ (not exactly sure) if that's any help.

i have an LG Flatron 19'' widescreen L194wt , which has a DVI and a VGA output. i hv connected my xbox 360 to the vga output and my computer to the DVI output. The computer is default display for the monitor...

there is a source button available which can be used to switch between the VGA and DVI output.. but whenever i press it, noothing happens.. it does not switch to the 360. please help.

I created another partition for my presario laptop; mainly to install VISTA on it. After a few weeks, I notice that my laptop heats up pretty fast and it feels really hot at the bottom. As a result, it immediately and automatically shuts down. And it takes 5 to 10 more minutes for the laptop to boot normally. I mean if I try to boot, it just shuts down even in Safe Mode.

Does having dual boots really contribute to the overheating of the laptop?

Why there are so great price differences amongst the laptops which are quite similarly configured (including bundled softwares). There could be some differences in prices due to a particular store etc. but sometimes price differences are more than 33% when there is no apparent differences between two machines. Is there something under the skin which I am missing ? Which may be a good laptop for a student starting his college this fall ?

Ok my computer has a cable which plugs it into a regular TV (its not monitor)
anyways i have plugged it in and whenever windows starts the tv gets flashes on it and when i search for the TV with the NIVIDIA program which came with my graphix card it showed that the TV wasent there but when i searched on the program the TV flashes also.
The tv does not show anything but whenever something happens like the pc trying to connect to the monitor, the tv flashes.
I want to know what is causing the tv just to flash and not show the pc's desktop ect...
Could it be that the wire is broken or something?
