TED80Y2. It worked when I formatted the hard drive and put XP back on. But now it isn't reconized. I went to the company site, but I couldn't fine any drivers. I would appricate any help that anyone might be able to give to me.
Thank you

Tuder is correct, drivers are not needed where optical drives are concerned. Here are some other things to check.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting both the IDE and the power cable.

Have you recently connected another device to the cable that the DVD is connected to. If so you may have the jumpers set wrong. One must be "master" and the other must be "slave".

Does the drives power light come on and or will the drawer open. If not try a different power supply connector.

Swap the drive for a known good one and see if it is recognized. This can be done with mounting the drive, just hook up the power and IDE cable that are now connected to the suspect drive and boot your compter. If the test drive is recognized then you can assume the other drive is bad.

Look in your BIOS and see if the drive is recognized there. If not, right click the IDE connection that the drive is connected to and set it to Auto.

Last, there is always a chance that the drive is dead.

There are no drivers for optical drives, they are built-in within Windows OS, if its not working or detected, then you may have a software conflict or a hardware fault.
