When I checked with Windows Manager it says "dll.exe" is using about 99% of the CPU's memory. I'm using Windows XP, a pentium processor, about 1 GB RAM, 1.5-2 GHZ (not exactly sure) if that's any help.

IN THE TASK MANAGER, GO TO THE PROCESS TAB AND DELETE THE SO CALLED "DLL.EXE" PROCESS. IT'LL RESOLVE IT TEMPORARYLY. FOR A LONG LASTING SOLUTION, USE A REGISTRY CLEANER. BETTER THING IS TO REFORMAT YOUR COMPUTER AND REINSTALL WINDOWS XP AND A GOOD, STABLE ANTIVIRUS TOOL (SUCH AS AVG). DONT FORGET TO INSTALL A FIREWALL TOO. (ZONE ALARM IS GOOD).

If your PC used to be faster, it's probably infected with malware. Use the link below to learn more about "malware".

Then, you need to install: ONE Anti-virus (AVG free), ONE Firewall (Zone Alarm free), and Anti-spyware tools like: Windows Defender, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster and cCleaner (free, use all 5 regularly).

Google for them, install them and learn how to use them.

TIP: Last resort, back up (copy to CD / DVD / external hard drive) all personal data and re-install Windows "Clean". The apps above can only clean up so much.

Save your important data - reformat your Hard drive and reinstall everything. You got too much spam, ad-ware and its kind. Not worth it to spend time to fix it.
