I need to replace the video card, is it repaceable by itself or do I need to replace the whole motherboard? my monitor shows "No signal" and I was told it is the video card.

If your PC has an AGP slot, and your motherboard isn't fried. yes.

Best advice, replace your OLD PC. It sounds like it's time.

It could be something else other than the video card. Are you receiving 3 beeps (2 long and one short) when you turn it on, if so that is the video card. Are the fans spinning? Does it seem like it's trying to boot?

Anyway, to answer your question: you can replace the video card (you might be running onboard video right now). You do not need to replace the whole motherboard unless you want to replace the onboard video. Make sure that the card you get will work in that PC.
