i dont think theres such thing as micro atx cases? correct me if i m wrong i remember fitting micro atx motherboard into this atx case when i built my first computer. Also why are there so many MIcro ATX mobos instead of ATX? do micro ATX mobos have any advantages over ATX mobos?

Okay so, my computer kept freezing so I restored it..but then when I tried going through the set-up pages at the beginning, it kept stopping at the same spot each time..then sometimes my CPU wouldn't turn on at all. So I let my friend check it out and first he thought it was a hardware problem, but today he said it's the restore disc's that's not working properly..so my question is, where could I buy windows XP restore disc's for an emachines computer at?? And about how much are they?

I have been having problems every since i got lime wire. My computer has been a lot slower and now i have erased it and i can not access certain web site like face boook it will take me to the home page but when i log in it goes to a page that says it could be a diagnose connection problem or it gives you more information.. somebody please help.. also can some one tell me how to clean my computer..

there is a folder for backing up the files but as i open it a new page comes and it says pc angle and nothing happens, and if right clik and explore it it opens a sub folder which had a icon of a lock wht should i do now??

I just bought an external hard drive and I was told by a friend that I should format it to NTFS, since currently it's FAT32 and supposedly NTFS is better (that's true, right?).

I'm reading stuff about partitioning the drive, but I'm not sure if I need to do it or not. There will be no operating system files on this external drive, just music and photos and stuff. This being the case- do I need a partition? If so, how big a partition do I need? Any info anyone can provide would be great appreciated here, because I'm sort of flying blind, as if you couldn't tell.

THIS IS WHERE I DONT GET IT, THE VIDEO CARD IS A 256 MB VIDEO GRAPHIC CARD NVIDIA GE FORECE 6800 SOMETHING 8 AGP ect... IF I INSTALL THE 512 MB RAM ON MY PC AND THAN INSTALL THE VIDEO CARD ,COULD THE 256 MB VIDEO CARD TAKE SOME OF THE MEMORY FROM THE 512 MB RAM AND MAKE IT LOWER..


THATS WHAT AN OLD CHINESE GUY EXPERT ON COMPUTER TOLD ME .. HE HAD A 256 MB RAM THAN HE INSTALL A VIDEO GRAPHIC CARD , BUT THE VIDEO CARD TOOK MEMORY FROM HIS 256 MB RAM MAKING IT EVEN LOWER UP TO 224 MB RAM INSTEAD OF A 256 MB RAM ..

I have an eMachines computer that is four years old and when I looked up what it comes with for memory, it comes with 256MB DDR (PC2100). I've seen some alarming things on answers and I was wondering if that number is the total capacity of my computer or if I could add a memory stick of 512MB or even a 1GB card to increase performance? I saw some people who said that you need to check if your computer can handle the RAM, but I don't know how to do that and I'm pretty sure when it says it has 256MB it just means it came with that much because it says 40GB hard drive but I update that to 80 a couple of years back.

I own a HP Pavillion dv8000. and i really want to play Command and Conquer 3. However, after contacting the C&C3 support page, i found that my ATI RDEON XPress 200 Graphics chip was not good enough for the game.

My question is, is there a way i can update this chip's driver, or maybe have another installed so i may play C&C3 and the upcoming Starcraft 2?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
