I want to make sure that there won't be any problems when I try to upgrade my comp. Help me double-check to see if everything is fine and compatible.

Also which one of these Power supplies would be better? Since the watts are close to each other I'm looking for the one that would stay cooler.

all these bits should work fine together in the emachine T5226
BTW you really do need that PSU cause your PC has a 350watt PSU. go for the Hiper PSU the other APEVIA is of cheaper and inferior quality. just read the reviews that people have posted.
Reviews for the APEVIA CONCORD
============================
Pros: It worked fine for just over one year. When it died it did NOT take any other hardware with it.
Cons: Purchased on 10-19-05 and died on 12-13-06. The cooling fans inside of the PSU are loud; the fans can be turned down, but no noise = very little airflow in this unit.
Other Thoughts: It's a cheap PSU, plain and simple. At least my other hardware wasn't damaged by it when it died. Oh yeah, I've just ordered a new PSU from Newegg; it should arrive sometime this week.
============================
Pros: its very nice i like the cover on the wires SATA connecters are a plus.
Cons: first one died after only 10hrs of running. fans and be rather loud when up on high.. i found keeping it on low is best. the extra fan and speed adjustor is pointless. the fan is nice, the speed adjuster is week and hardly works, i just used the fan without it.
Other Thoughts: as statedx before the extran fan and such is pointless to me. its kind of loud when fan speed is turned all the way up. it is a good psu tho. first 1 RMAed but the second 1 hasd been running in my girfriends computer for a while now and i have had no problems.

The RAM you want to use is for a Intel processor I dont think that AMD supports it.
I have this RAM in my Core 2 Duo E6400 its fine with my Nvidia Chipset mother board. it has all the profiles stored on the RAM chip so it can set the timings for the memory without you messing around in the bios. I think that your board will only allow the RAM to run at 800 not 1066 so maybe the RAM is overkill. Really until you get a new motherboard you are stuck there.
BTW the processor you have is going to be the bottle neck in the system. it's a 925 processor so you can put a core 2 duo processor in it(LGA 775). try a E6400/E6600 in the future.
I run Counter strike source and graphics cards are so fast now that the game waits for the processor
I know you are not a novice cause the parts you have listed are good bits of kit so I have nothing further to add then good luck in the upgrade.
Hope this helps

Well from the information you supplied there is really no way to tell you if those upgrades will work in your computer.
First off, list what model motherboard you have. Does it have a PCI-Express slot or AGP? What speed RAM and type does the motherboard support? If you do not know this information since you might have a Dell or HP etc, list what model and manufacturer it is.
As for power supplies I always say go Antec. Antec is by far one of the better power supply manufacturers out there. And believe me if there is one component worth poring a little money into it is the power supply.

The second power supply would be better, since it packs more power. Also you would have to see if your RAM + video card is compatible with your existing motherboard. (240 pins DDR2 1066 Mhz is your new ram) and make sure your motherboard has a PCI Express x16 slot available.

Surely not much, i would get more memory see if i can get up to 2 gig...then upgrade to vista or xp pro to take advantage of the media center with the audigy remote (you did get a remote didnt you?) and finally a new video card with more memory and possibly a tv tuner.... sorry i got no prices..

1. Video card is good but pricey. GT has better value for money and has great overclocking headroom.
2. RAM choice is great if you will overclock your processor. Otherwise your motherboard will just run it at ddr2 800 speed.
3. Hiper 480W is ATX V2.2. It is more efficient (runs cooler), has dual +12V rails and higher +12V wattage. This unit can better support peripheral devices.

I dont know what kind of computer you have, so I have no idea if those parts will work or not.
Go with the 500W power supply.
