better than beth. i shouldn't be complaining against beth. she does have points against, which i don't like and don't find them appealing.

my problem with beth is! we don't talk like we used too and she's in africa. i know she is currently in clinic with a broken leg, but i don't think i love her anymore. i am not sure what to do. i kinda feel distant from her!!!

I am planning to get a very powerful gaming computer after I am done with some exams in June . My dilema is this : Should I get a traditional AMD-FX62 Cpu on socket AM2 or get a newer AMD FX-74 on a Quad CPU platform ? I have read similar questions regarding this issue and nothing seems to fit my situation. I played a game straight from MSN games so I'm sure it didn't contain a virus. The game played fine, no problem there, but when I stopped playing and shut the game down, my whole computer screen had become magnified! I always keep my resolution at 800x600 and I checked that first and the bar was still at that resolution.

Currently I have my resolution at 1024 x 768 but the screen still looks funny. Is this a software problem or a hardware problem? Any ideas on how to fix it??

I've just been to place my order on a core 2 duo 6300 equipped PC (based on the advise from the people in my last question), but when I got on the phone the guy said they have an offer to upgrade AMD units to a 5200 Athlon X2 for the same price (whereas the previous AMD system at this price was the Athlon 4200 X2.

As I understand it, an Athlon 4400 X2 is on par with the CD E6300. I cant afford to spend any more so whilst i appreciate that the intel Core Duo chips muller AMD on the higher end of things, will the AMD 5200 perform better than a E6300 intel for the same money?

Okay currently i have a ASUSTek Computer INC. Amberine M 1.03 motherboard. I have no idea what that all means.

Pretty much i have a3500+ amd 64bit processor. I want to be able to have the benefits of a dual core or even a dual core duo. Problem with this is i dont know if my motherboard is compatible.

I bought the computer a year ago, so i would asume it would be, but i dont wanna make a mistake of buying a processor and not being able to use it. So how do i find out if it can support a certant processor? I hear people talking about certant processors with certant chip sets and have no clue whats going on.

SO pretty much, how can i find out if my current chipset/motherboard will work right with an AMD dual core? If so what would you recomend? Should i buy another motherboard? If so, how do i know which processor works with which motherboard?

I am the semi-proud owner of an eMachine equipped with an MSI MS-7173 motherboard, Pentium 4 3GHz, 1024MB PC-400 RAM, and the puny ATI xPress 200 IGP chipset. In my opinion every hard disk manufacturer should think the possibility of installing some good anti-virus firmware to eleminate the viruses when using this HDD. We can updated this software by visiting the manufacturer's site. Why no one thinks over this idea ?
