i'll be in the middle of an application and all of a sudden it will crash stating "the systems graphics adapter in this system has experienced an internal error. this applicationg will now termintate." does anyone know what i could do to make it go away??

Try uninstalling the driver then installing the latest version. Download it from the manufaturer's website.

If it's a desktop, try opening the case and pointing an electric fan towards the graphics card. If the problem does not occur, the problem could be overheating. It may be caused by inadequate PC case ventilation, dirty graphics card heatsink or the graphics card fan can no longer provide adequate cooling.

If the problem still persisted when the case was open and there was forced air cooling, your power supply might be having a problem coping with the needs of the graphics card.

I think this is a problem with your graphic card drivers.

You might want to reinstall the drivers that came with your system

download your latest driver for your graphic card...
download latest Direct X...
if possible your motherboard too..
