When I bought a new harddrive, I had to go on the hp website to download the drivers and stuff for my sound or whatever. Do I have to do the same thing for my wireless internet connection? There used to be a "connect to" thing in my start menu, but there isn't one anymore. How do I get my wireless thing back so that I can get on the internet wirelessly?

Yes you will usually have to download a wireless card driver from the manufacters website. To show the connect to start menu list again go to the start menu properties then click the start menu tab. then press the customize button, then go advanced tab and scroll down until you get to the Network connections heading. then click the circle that says display as Connect to menu. this will put it in the start menu.

You may have to set up your wireless adapter; look for the CD that came with it.

Then in Windows XP, go to Control Panel, then Wireless Network Setup Wizard for step-by-step instructions.
