I have a 500GB MyBook Pro External Hard Drive from Western Digital and I'd like to check its temp but none of the software recognize it. They do recognize my internal HD. And BTW my external HD HAS SMART support.

Its under warranty still , and I hate it . The casing sux when you touch the keyboard messes with the audio output.The battery was recalled and I'm still waiting for it to come in the mail. There is something going on with the wireless card maybe too. The router is putting out a signal that is not getting picked up by the computer. What can I do with this thing?

Press ctrl+print screen and It will take a screen shot.Paste it on paint then right click go to invert colors and you will see what i mean. and thank you lots!!!!

I have had these errors: 0x00010ded, 3D functionality not available, can't find hardware acceleration Video Card device, and so on.

I have win xp home, servpack2, pent4.

I have 512mb ram, and lots of virtual added.

I have done all the maintainance, I have done all trouble shooters I could think of.

I have tried to re-instal the graphics driver from the motherboard cd, but that failed due to missing or damaged files needed for installation.
no aditional info on which files are missing or damaged.

If anyone knows how to proceed to fix this or learn more about the problem I am having, please tell me?

i am still using a pentium 3 500MHz processor with 256mb ram, i know it is a bit too old. so when i try to watch my dvd movie, its seems that its was not working smoothly with many pauses in the screen, may i know what do i need to upgrade (ex. my ram)in order to solve this problem bcos i have tight budget or maybe i can change the settings to solve my problem, pls advise . thanks

Okay, here's the deal. I have a file that won't print on my computer. It's a PDF File. I've pulled up the printer from the control panel and I've tried to delete the file, cancel the file, and pause the file. It won't print and it won't go away. It's been like this since yesterday. Well, I have a business to run and I can't print anything until this file deletes. HELP! How in the world do I get his off of here? It won't go away!!! I hope I gave you enough details ....

I've just got my computer bak after a motherboard replacement. Everythings working fine except the fact i have no sound, i have installed my sound card drivers and all the needed software (creative soundblaster xfi card), the card itself registers there is sound...but i cant hear anything, everything is connected properly too.

In device manager, "audio device on high definition audio bus" has the yellow exclamation mark next to it. Any ideas how i can get my sound back?
