how do you find a upc on a barcode on a product i been told it is a 4 didgit number...?

Sorry, the bar code is much longer than that and is on EVERYTHING.

It has all the vertical lines ||||||||||||| with the numbers underneath.

There are 10 core numbers with a little number at the beginning and end, totaling 12.

I just checked a box of Kleenex. Grab something from your pantry, you'll find the numbers.

Ummm... the UPC is the number below the barcode. It is not 4 digits, it is 12 digits.
