Delete and uninstall everything you don't need, Defragment the Hard Drive constantly and the Clean up the Hard Drive. Anti-Virus may cause the PC to slow down.

stand on in or clean it. Go to Internet options you will see a Little clock it says delete Internet rubbish click on this it gives you a list cookies/temp files/ just wipe the lot. Click settings check auto delete temp etc

Start see Run? (well type) msconfig/ click/ start up make sure the nasty web trolls are not trying to direct you to a site. Unchecked the box's you don't recognize. Restart on restart click the box dont show again.

you may need more memory. how much memory do you have? what kind of processor?

memory is the best thing you can do to improve it at least 1GB of memory. More is better.
