x1950Pro vs 7900GT graphic card whos best?

Im trying to see whos better
and can ypou tell me how many times is a 8800gtx better than a x1950 pro or 7900gt?

Can anyone help? I have just bought a Pentuim 4 3.6GHZ 4Gb DDR 400 memory bundle. All seems fine except when I connect either of my Sata drives, they are both 250gb and were used yesterday on my other pc. the problem is that when i connect them i get safe mode choices but computer will not boot up. i have made sure all the jumpers and connectors are correct, Will I need to reinstall windows? is this because the previous computer was a AMD? and the configuartion are differant. Please help Cheers

Does anyone know how to FAST FORWARD in Windows Media Player 32x the speed?

i know you're supposed to press and hold the NEXT button, but how do you make it faster? ... it seems to be only moving in 3 second intervals?

Business needs a decent scanner, but it has to be one where you can feed it multiple pages and let it do its work and NOT one where you need to manually scan each separate page. I see a few fax/copier/scanner combos, but copier and fax are not needed, so I'm looking specifically for a scanner only. Any recommendations based on whats out there?

Have recently bought a laptop (loaded with Vista) which is to be used to produce audio recordings but my existing hardware (external usb audio pre amp) does not have Vista drivers available,

My answer would be to scrub Vista and install XP ... I read that Vista cannot be uninstalled but if I reformat the hard drive and start from scratch then, in my mind, this should work.

Can anyone tell me if I'm making sense with this and what problems I'm going to come up against?

Voodoo.

If you know of any other top class brand, please let me know...

Every now and then (not every day) when I turn on and boot up my HP PC with XP, I get this hourglass with blue lines at each end, and it turns every few seconds. The start up icons never show up in the tray, and the clock doesnt show correct time. Its very annoying, and usually after 10 minutes, I have to shut down and reboot. This happens intermittently ONLY on startup.
What is this hourglass with blue lines, why is it showing up, and what can I do to stop it showing up?

At the moment I have an Epson C46 which has seen better days.
What I am now looking for is a printer that will do Colour Photo`s
Black Print together with a Flat Bed Scanner. Also one where the

I have HP deskjet 300 all in one printer recently bought. I just want to know how much the black cartridges run means normally how much pages it should print ? because my cartridges are very oftenly getting empty as my printing job is not much and i am printing the economical and draft quality always but the cartridge is not even printing 60 pages. and getting empty. Please guide me regarding the refiiling also.
