Sony VAIO SZ 38 GP would give all the above.

1. You have 2 Graphic cards the Onboard one for day 2 day use and you have a switch to shift to NVIDA graphic card when you want to play games.
2. Its very light at 1.6 kgs including battery and it gives 5 hours of battery backup.
3.Its the best looking laptop and would definitely turn heads.
4. It has a very good built in Webcam and Mic
5. Its not one of those 3 you have mentioned.

Dell has a similar model Dual core, 1 Gb RAM, 120 GB hdd, 12inch screen, inbuiltcam. Check for model on dell site.

But i used the Sony Vaio for six months now and its the best.

webcams are overrated...especially one built-in b/c you can never upgrade it (unless you buy a USb one and plug it iin) but then your now stuck with a built-in piece of junk. Anyway, most laptops are already ligthweight so i wouldnt be worried about lifting it. Basically all laptops look cool-but woudl you buy a Lexus that has a 1989 Dodge omni built in it? Ive seen some plain comptuers that surprisingly run remarkably fast.

For playing games (excluding compaq and HP) I would recommend anything with an AMD Turion Processor. Intel Duos tend to generate more heat when playing games. Get a huge hard drive and a 15.4" screen that has brite-light. Maybe 1gig or RAM also. Also, your video card should be an ATI for great graphics and gameplay.

:) Hope this helps :)

by the way, you can always plug in a webcam via USB

I agree with rubyred. HP is a great brand for laptops. In fact, that's what I'm typing on right now. I've never had one problem with mine. It's high on the consumer report ratings too. The speakers are really nice and it has a bunch of cool features like touch sensor buttons and a little cute remote. The designs on the Hp's are very attractive too. Why would you get a mac? they are hardly compatible with different types of software ive seen and everything is toally different on it compared to any other computer. It wouldn't be a good computer to start out with. I reccomend an HP. Make sure you get a warranty. It will be worth it. Also, sometimes HP offers a major discount for students. I got $100 off of mine. Good Luck

I'd prefer Acer laptop. Upon delivery, it is fresh and ready to use. No extra programs just the essentials. You can install games and things later.
