1 i would try system restore first --- goto start then all programs then accessories then to system tools then system restore---choose restore to an earlier date -- some date before kids messed with it --- then restore ---2 you can also right click screen and goto properties and then settings and make sure the settings are right ---3 you can also update the drivers that are missing by going to my computer and right clicking and going down to properties then goto hardware then find monitor and click the plus sign then right click and update the driver hope this helps
