i think it has a virus but it restarts before i have a chance to do anything...it will start up and everything but it will open up to the desktop and ten seconds later it will restart! i dont know what to do!

I am looking to get a lap top. I don't need or want anything fancy, just something to surf the internet and to store digital pictures. Does it matter what brand I get? I am looking for something new and cheap. I see a lot of brands, but not sure if they are all created equal or not.

Will a fax machine run without being hooked up to a telephone line? Are all in ones good products? I fax quite a bit and I am tired of running to the corner store to fax. Thanks in advance.

My computer is too full, it runs extremely slow and theres this annoying windows installer message i get every two seconds. I want to know if there is any way I can get my Dell Computer back to the way it was when i first bought it. Like the Facotry setting or something. Do i need a CD to reinstall windows or can I just reboot it. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanx.

my laptop has this greasy film on my screen and when i wipe it it just smears....i tryed the cloth that it came with, paper towel..and toilet paper but noting works...help please i just got it and don't want it to be all screwed up!!!!!

i have intel original motherboard D945Gcl and it is writen on it supports DDR2 667 mhz / SDRAM 533 RAM. weather the ddr2 533 mhz(512MB) RAM will WORK properly or should I opt for 667 mhz RAM

I just bought a gateway 22" widescreen. It didnt come with a DVI cable. Im running a 7900 GT vidio card that has this option. Is there a noticable difference in video quality if any?

I just bought a printer. Its a lexmark all in one z1270 I dont think my problem is with my printer but...

Every time I try to install the drivers for my printer they try to install on C drive on my computer and I dont even have c drive I have F drive. So when it is done installing is says install failed.

My question is how do I change it so that it installs on F drive and not C which does not even exist?

I use windows vista and I have all the reccomended requirements and everything. The drive I am trying to install is from the lexmark website and it is for vista.

I tried to contact lexmark and they havent wrote back.

Anyone who answers this with at least an attempt to help me will get points and I will give the best answer all 5 stars. I thank you very very much. Eric

It wouldn't allow access to the internet or other programs when I clicked on its icon. Well, I was playing around and hit the systems recovery, it erased all of my info off my computer. It started everything over as if I had just bought it. I had downloaded music and documents that I needed. Is there anyway that I can get this info back. What did I do wrong? What should I do in the future?

Why does the DVD+Rewrightable drive in my lap top not work?
I have ran the trouble shoot and nothing works. I plays DVDs but they constanly skip and it takes forever to install stuff from it. Also it will play CDs sporaticaly if ya know help me thanks
