my laptop has this greasy film on my screen and when i wipe it it just smears....i tryed the cloth that it came with, paper towel..and toilet paper but noting works...help please i just got it and don't want it to be all screwed up!!!!!

Get a lint-free cloth! The papers are too harsh.I use Monster screen clean which I also use on my TV (both computer and TV are plasma) but I suspect there are several likely candidates at various costs you will see in the answers here, so watch for 'em - maybe somebody'll even talk about those moistened cloths that pop up out of a jar.)

Go to CompUSA or Office Depot or local computer repair shop(recommended!). They should carry screen cleaner spray. Check your warranty and see if it covers your screen. If it does, simply replace it with a new one.

Did you clean it with windex or something ? Products with ammonia, like windex can damage the screen.
I use and would suggest to anyone to use http://www.pixelclean.com to clean the screen.
