Hai All,
I am using SAP installed PC with configration, 512 MB ram and Windows 2003 server as OS and P4 2.4GHz processer. Now I want to upgrade my system to P4 3.0/Duo core -- 512mb ram and install the same hard disk.

Can any one suggest me... will the SAP work even if i change the configuration of the system?

It was a small amount of water and I dried it off and let it set for 48 hours. When I turn it power it on, it powers itself off in about 2 minutes. There is no screen at any time. Any ideas what part might be needed to repair it?

I am not sure if I thought it was or actually heard it somewhere but I thought that you could record content from you cable/dish/TV and send it to your pc. Maybe I thought that this was possible because of its hard drive, but I didn't know if anyone knew.

I need a floppy drive for a secure program. for the program to work the floppy must be the A: drive. My problem is that modern laptops don't have 1.44 floppy drives. If I buy a usb floppy will it recognize the floppy as the a: drive or will it make it the F:, G:, H: drive?

I am wanting to buy a router, but the adds are saying "people also bought"... and they are showing this adapter. It's about $40.00 on average. I use one of my computers to play music. I have it connected to a high end stereo system ( Harmon Kardon Citation series amps) I was using a desktop style case that is designed to look nice in a stereo stand, but have had tremendous problems with the system in that case. I just changed the case for a mini-tower with a Codegen 450W power supply. Now I am getting a hum from the Sound Blaster card and from the on-board sound card. These are the same I/F cards that were in the system to begin with. The only different parts are the case and power supply. The P/S must be the responsible item. I am looking for a low electrical noise P/S for this system. Does anyone know of such a beast? I am not concerned with Ambient noise (i.e. what you hear) it's more of an issue of whta interference noise it generates.

I have a dell inspiron 6000 laptop, which I have had for over a year now. I am fed up with all the stuff that they put on it, such as dell system restore and quickset and such like, and I don't even know what half of it is for!
What is safe to remove or not? I'm not keen on starting the whole thing from scratch like removing Windows cos of all my stuff on here...
