When you research printers just look for the option called a Duplexer.
Most HP printers that include a duplexor will have a "D" after the model or contain a "D" in a mixture of letters as follows:
D = Duplexor
T = additional feed tray
N = networking
So an HP Deskjet 6840DT would have a duplexor and additional feed tray. For any printer manufacturer though they should specify if the pritner has a duplexor or not. You can also contact the customer service department of the reseller.

Any printer will do ask you want. All you have to do is a) print alternate pages then b) put the paper back into the printer hopper and print the other alternate pages.
Don't even think about buying a two sided printer - unless you are planning to get into the magazine / newspaper business and have huge amounts of money to spend.

I think you need to use Adobe. The biggest thing in printing is your scanner/copier. I use multiple software on my computer. Each type has good and bad points. Do not spend any money until you try your software and learn all the steps needed in printing a brochure.

I have setup a modern photocopier for this.
The printer driver for it even sorts the pages out for you to print a booklet.
