I want to buy a 2gig memory stick, but dont know which is a good brand that will work great for saving lots of videos and school work.

I want to buy some ram from ebay for my boyfriend's dell computer, as it's running incredibly slow. This is his spec at the minute is:

Memory Slots
DRAM Slot #1256 MB (PC2700 DDR SDRAM)

I've got my eye on an ebay listing, selling some ram. This is what it states:

2 x 512mb pieces
DDR PC-2100R
266 mhz
184 pins
Registered memory
MT18VDDT6472G-265C3

If I bought these ram sticks, and got them put in my boyfriend's computer, would they work okay and be compatible?

Im using another PC, but the other one had a working keyboard and all of a sudden the lights wouldnt turn on so i checked the plug and wiggled but didnt work, unplugged it and found that the little pins were like bent and i tried to fix it but it just broke off so i figured that keyboard was dead, so i took a keyboard from another PC that works and it plugged in normally but it doesnt work!!!!!
The Num lights blink when I plug it in but thats it, and if i wiggle it the lights just blink but it doesnt stay on.....I even tried plugging it on the mouse connector n it does the same thing...
Whats wrong with it???

Im waiting for a USB keyboard to arrive....


P.S. on screen keyboard is very annoying!!!!

I have a dell optiplex system with 2 large monitors which can be used simultaneously. which i use for video editing which i would like to sell.
bought it last january, has Avid Xpress on it Adobe Premiere and lots of others

I have tried portable media device, has no disable, delete or whatever. Under my computer in control panel there is no option for disabling or deleting Write Protection. I've tried all of the suggestions under the above 4 answers of "how to remove write protection on my flash drive. My flash drive (s) are not faulty. Can someone please help? Thanks
