When you bought the ne wsystem did they ask you igf you wanted the upgrade , to my knowledge VISTA will be released in late Dec 2006 or early 2007an all you need to do is pay for theshipping of the disc's

I would think that if its just Vista capable, and not already installed with Vista, I would think you would have to pay extra for it.

Windows Vista doesn't come out until January 30, and, when it does, you'll have to pay to upgrade to it, but not if it already comes with your computer.
