I use a Mac and I love it. Why do you love your computer?

I use a PC but I have Linux installed, and I love it for many reasons!
Firstly, it is virus-free, spyware-free, trojan-free and adware free. Can't touch this ;-)
It is also free to upgrade whenever I want. Waiting for "Windows Vista" to come out? Not me - I just upgraded to the latest version of my operating system last night. For free.
I've tried using Microsoft Windows, and the way it slows down after a few months of using it. Argh! So annoying! And all that defragging. Not with Linux - phew!
Crashing? Whats that? I did dual boot for a while with Windows XP, but it just giving me a blue screen of death. Something about it not liking the Athlon64 processor. Linux works like a dream.
Annoying pop-ups? Windows stuck underneath each other that you can't move? None of those on Linux.
Context stealing applications? There you are, typing away.. and.. bang - a stupid applications steals context away from what you were doing. Oh wait - I'm using Linux - I can set an applications context stealing level. Great :)
Macs are great too... BSD under the hood with a polished GUI.

I use a PC now but I'm probably going to switch to Linux the next time I build a machine, I'm tired of the $150.00 or whatever for an OS, ( Mr. Gates has enough of my money ), I'm also looking to pick up a used Mac, I haven't bought one up until now because of the price but I'm seeing used ones now that are more in line with my budget so I'll probably take the plunge.

my husband uses a mac. i use it a pc but its already getting old my new computer is going to be a mac

I have a PC and love it. I don't know anyone who has a Mac and haven't seen one at any job in a long, long time.

I think most people uses pc because they have more games and more hacked software available.. but Mac is surely far better than a pc!

mac is generally used by movie prducers and graphic desiners
whereas pc not only being cheaper thn mac is the real champ among most of the peoples!!

I wish i could afford more than 1 mac. i love Macs they are so beautiful and they never get viruses!

i use pc coz mac is way too expensive for my budget. furthermore, pc got more games and softwares readily available out there.

I have two PC's, one with Linux and the other with Windows. I use my Linux for business and personal info, like balancing my checkbook and keeping things organized. I also store my music and movies on that one. I surf the net on it too
I use Windows for games.
