vga out still works, so its not the gpu. everything works normally except the screen is totally black.

I have a PacarkBell L4014 laptop and need to transfer all files from it to a new laptop Advent 7109.
How can I do the transfer? What cables do I need? where can i get them?

Its a small laptop mouse with USB receiver. The batteries are inserted correctly and it lights up just fine. after putting the USB receiver into the USB port, I push the button on the mouse and hold it in,but nothing. I have tried pushing the button on the USB receiver, and still nothing.what do you suggest. Im on windows XP and the mouse is from hong kong-welcome ISO electronics shop

Missing ntldr help cant get pc on!!!?
turned my pc on as normal but didnt boot up came up missing ntldr it said press ctrl alt del to restart but didnt work any idea wot to do please help

im running windows xp and dont have a floppy disc in though i did leave my game in the cd rom ive take the disc out and tryed rebootin but nothin the only choice i have when bootin is f2 set up or f11 boot menu but wont do anything when pressin f8

I replaced my old Geforce 4 MX440 with a new Geforce FX5200, before i replaced my video card everything was perfect.
after installing the new Geforce fx i turned on the pc and the power indecator light did not turn on, only the busy indecator light was on no beeps nothing and my LCD was clear i dont know what to do Please can someone help me

What is "virtual memory" compared to space on the hard drive? I just got notification that my virtual memory was low, but I have 3/4 of a pie left on my hard drive. My computer is fairly new, I got it in May. What would this mean, and what do I do about it? Also, I have wireless internet, and we have roadrunner. Why is it that I loose connection so often? Is that something to do with the virtual memory problem?

HI, I am building a new computer, and looking at processors. I was going to get the amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ since it just came out, and looks amazeing. but i thought about it and am i going to be useing all of its power? would just a x2 4600+ be fine for me?? I use adobe premiere pro 2.0, photoshop, after effects, and am soon upgradeing to avid, once i can save up for it. but anyway my main question is: which processor should i get from the 4400+ to the 5200+. the cheaper it is, the sooner i can get it, but if thats going to effect editing and some gameing, i dont know what i want.

The green power light glows when using the adaptor but pressing the on switch does nothing. I have reinserted the battery and pressed the reset switch but no joy. I have bought a new BIOS battery and will try that but what else could be the problem? It was starting to act up and not shut down unless you pulled the battery. Could the system board be to blame and the best bet be buy a new laptop? Thanks
