the battery is attached to the mother board of the computer. it is called the cmos battery and it will last for about 2 years. the battery looks like a watch battery. you can change the system time form the cmos. press del key when the computer is booting up. then it will take you to the cmos config. menu. in the menu you can change it or you can also change it through windows by double clicking the date and time thingy on the bottom right hand conner of the screen. then you can handle it from there

Yes, it looks like a watch battery (i.e about 2cm diameter)
This makes sure your computer remebers that it is a computer when you turn it off.
To change the time, press DEL after you switch your computer on (if no screen appears keep pressing it) and you will be presented with the BIOS. This is where u can change date and time. I recommend not changing any of the other options in there without knowing what they do.

inside the side cover look for a silver thing about the size of a quarter take it out be care-full you should be able to find a battery at any store that sells batteries,

Yes,it's called a CMOS battery they are clamped onto the morherboard..If you can remove cover from your computer tyou will see it. Most of those are round like a watch battery except much bigger.

its called a cmos battery radio shack sells them for about 4 bucks if you open the case you will see it its about the size of a nickle unplug your machine before replacing it

yes there is a battery for that- inside your case, don't know where yours is exactly but look for something that looks like a big watch battery.
