What is "virtual memory" compared to space on the hard drive? I just got notification that my virtual memory was low, but I have 3/4 of a pie left on my hard drive. My computer is fairly new, I got it in May. What would this mean, and what do I do about it? Also, I have wireless internet, and we have roadrunner. Why is it that I loose connection so often? Is that something to do with the virtual memory problem?

and yes, if the virtual memory is set way to low, and you dont have enough actual memory in puter to run the already running programs the wireless connection would be the first to drop off, or if when you start wireless connection if you have 256 mb of memory and if your system information says your using ,say, 225 or 235 mb of memory your basicly not giving the programs room to Open up or "breathe" as I call it, when you reset virtual memory also go Start>programs>accessories>systemtools>systeminformation and then click on memory in left column and that will tell your actually memory and your virtual memory and well about anything else about your computer but click on other things besides memory to view them hardware, software, problems etc.
