I bought a 1 gig stick(the geek squad assured me that it'd work with the other sticks) and I'm not sure which slots I should put all the sticks in. It has 4 slots and I don't know if I have to move either of the 500 sticks.

Hi, i am about to build a computer. In my old computer i just put in a seagate 160gb 7200 rpm ultra ata drive and then installed windows by recovery discs. If i put that drive in the new system would it be genuine, also would it work? And what application do you run before taking drive out to erase all drivers.

I just tried the gametap service and there are some games there I'd enjoy if I had a gamepad. I have an old sidewinder gamepad from microsoft, but my computer doesn't even detect it and the only drivers I can find are for windows 98.

I've seen a lot of gamepads for the pc, but they all look like the playstation controller.

Are there any that have the 6 buttons across as well as a start and select button? I would like one that is new enough that it will work with windows xp and one that would work with gametap.

I got a dvd-rw. I set the jumper to secondary master and hooked everything up. It burns regular cds, and reads cd-r etc..however, it does not read dvds or burn dvds. why?

I'm trying to get the laptop to work with an external LCD monitor (Viewsonic VX2235WM) widescreen monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050.

I can't seem to get my video drivers to output at that resolution.
