I want to buy a Digital camera with high optical zoom. I shortlisted Sony H5, Canon S3 IS. Both use AA batteries. It is difficilt to take out the AA batteries every time , put them in a charger and charge. Compared to lithium battery it is big hassle. Why are they using AA batteries ??

Secondly Canon has no built in memory in their cameras , could you explain the possible reasons for this and can some one from Canon reply to me as well.

Hey does anybody know how to fix whatever problem it is when your computer is not automatically running things, like in mine it doesnt detect the webcam out of any USB port or sometimes the memory stick port. It also doesnt detect when I put a CD on. I dont know what is going on and why it doesnt detect my webcam and the other things. I checked on the device manager and it doesnt say anything that is wrong. Does the Symantec have anything to do with it? Please help! :) Thanks .

Recently I have connected my front USB panel with the Motherboard.Then I plugged the Flash drive and it didn't work. I tried it on another PC but it's not working.

I think something had gone wrong when I connected the Front panel with the M/B. I'm not quite sure about the pin connections.

Can wrong pin connections damage a Flash drive?
Do you think the drive can be repaired? If so ,how?

Is amd better than intel. I have heard both sides, and i think amd is better. Which has a better price, faster? ( i build computers and i dont know if i should switch over to intel, i am currently working on a gaming computer with a raid 0 or 5 array.) My computer recently just started, at seemingly random moments, going into bursts of speed, making music, movies, games and even flash apps jumpy and unbearable.

I also recenlty bought a hardrive that used SATA when all I have is IDE, so I bought a usb converter thing, and plug my hardrive into a USB port.

What's happening? Can it be fixed? Is it the new hardrive forking with my system? Will the Lone Ranger make it back to the ranch on time? Tune in next week, or answer my question to be awesome.

I have an external hard drive (250 GB) and I recently dropped it on the floor. It still turns on, it starts loading up, then starts clicking, and stops trying to load. My daughter's computer won't boot up anymore. According to her, the computer crashed (possible virus as she described a series of windows that opened that could not be closed) so she powered the PC off. Now when powering on, the power light comes on and the fan can be heard, then it seems to immediately shut off then power on again about twice every second. I even tried removing the BIOS jumber on the main board to force the BIOS recovery startup, but it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?
