Yes it will work with your slot since you have an AGP slot, but now is when you have to worry about your power supply. You need at least a 400W power supply. I tried to find out how big it was from the HP site, but it didn't say, so you might look in the manual. You can always put a new one in, a 400W will only run you about 60 to 70 dollars.

Yes. Your computer has an AGP slot, so any AGP video card will work on your PC.
