2 GB hard drive...thats impossible thats like using a USB flash drive for everything on your comp hahaha

but 512 sounds like enough memory

I agree with another poster you will need a powerful laptop to play games it is possible to find one that can do so.
I just got a laptop from Gateway I can play any game I want but I also have the duo core processor and I made sure that it has a lot of space to store pics etc but the bonus is that I can open a ton of applications at once and it does not crash.
Laptops can work with games it just going to take an laptop that is built to handle the games that are out there now. The advice is the same for desktops not all of them are compatible with games.
If you decide to by a new laptop do some research first to see if it meets your needs here is a link to get you started,

My it is shared most laptop only have a small megabyte video card. Usually it is mostly shared memory which means it is temporarily putting them onto the hard drive. So this may be your problem. Most games require large MB's for playing games, most desktops use 512 MB video card and 1 to 2 GBs of installed memory for playing games. This will definately stall or crash out your laptop.

It depends on the game's system requirements which are found on the box or in the instruction manual. To me, your system doesn't seem to meet today's video game minimum requirements - what kind of graphic card do you have? Check what kind of video card you have- the most common problem for games crashing is the graphic chipset of the video card not being compatible. Do you mean 20 GB HD?
