I am looking to buy a laptop for myself. I would like a Mac Book (ie. one that runs macintosh). I want to know which would be better a mac system or a windows system? Please also outline pros and cons. And advice me as to which is better. Thanks.

sons Packard Bell laptop keeps going into recovery program as soon as switched on and the says there has been errors and windows switches it off, at moment its completely useless and PB website is no help at all! need to get it sorted so he can use it again . Wont start up in normal mode or anything!

I Have a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. I have used it on my Dell Inspiron 8300 in the past with no problems. Now when i plug in the mouse, the pointer disappears. It still registers it's there. I can still click with it and it works, I just can't see where the pointer is. Device manager says its working fine. Any ideas?

Plese answers most of the 5 questions..

1. Is it normal to only get about 40 or 50 copies per ink cartridge?

2. I just bought a dell 725, are there compatiable ink cartridges or can you only get it at dell

3. what about refillable cartridges.

4.it is too expensive to use if I just paid about 24 dollars for 40 copies...they told me at dell it would last a year..it has not even last a day! LIARS! It only comes in color not black and white they said. True?

5. Would it be more cost effective in the long run to buy a different printer where I can buy cartridges somewhere like Walmart's

I have a HP DeskJet 895Cse color printer and love it. I am having the following problem: I try to print something and it prits a couple of pages and freezes up. Then ALL the lights start blinking. I have tried restarting it, unplugging it and plugging it back in, etc. bu nothing seems to work. I am about to pull my hair out. Any suggestions?

i tried to open up my SanDisk Micro 1GB drive as it was detected on my pc when i plugged it in. However, it shows me H:\access denied when i wanna double click to open it. However, when i right clicked and explore it, i can access the files as usual but it is not normal as i do not have access denies like this before, anything i shd do?

My 6 year old computer has a QDI Kinetiz 7T Motherboard,
an Athlon 750 Mhz processor, an 80 Gig hard-drive, 640Mb of Ram and a GeForce 2MX video card.
I have WIndows XP and Directx 9c.
I can run Medal of Honour on minimum settings but would like to be able to improve the quality. I would also like to see if I can run some more recent games.
In view of the above how much is it worth spending on a better GeForce card and which one would be most suitable? Should I go for a 128 or a 256 card ?
I have in mind switching to an AGP card as I understand these work better than a PCI card.
