the processor that i use is the 630 3.0 i like it i have it overclocked to 3.6 just by the motherboards A.I. boost.

buy a board that has a PCI-x or AGP8X slot for graphics card. The board should also have a PCI slot where you can fit a Creative Sound Blaster card.

While even a basic creative sound card (Creative SB Live Value) would do for good gaming sound, but the most expensive nVidia graphics card you can afford.

ATI cards are good too but they tend to have broken drivers and bad engineering. Our ATI card burnt up since by design it sat realtively weakly in the AGP slot and didnt feature protection/warning against bad seating. Before that the card drivers frequently resulted in corrupted display.

buy a intel board, intel boards are very good in durability and stabilty.. i recommend intel desktop board D865PERL.. it is DDRAM, SDRAM socktes..it can support most of pentium processors..it has a very good audio system, a SoundMAX 4 XL with AudioESP audio subsystem..it has 6 up to 8 USB 2.0 port, which comes in very handy..a universal 0.8/1.5 V AGP 3.0 connector (with integrated retention mechanism) supporting 4x and 8x AGP cards..
Nvidia graphics card would be preferable because most of it is already supported by windows.. there are PCI and AGP slot cards..i recommend for AGP would be GeForce 6800..its 512mb but its the best..
