why wont the dvd player on my laptop play some types of dvds? is there anything i can download to change this?

Region codes - you can change them but only twice by going in to your laptop settings for example . . . .

Region 1 = USA / CANADA
Region 2 = UK

Could be a region prob check the properties for your dvd and change to your region hope this helps

there are two types of DVDs the one that says DVD-R or DVD+R that was my problem
