i have a wireless PCMCIA card in my laptop and its malfuctioning. i wish to install alternate drivers from another device which are said to work with my device.

ive uninstalled current drivers, however wen i attempt to use the new drivers it says "does not contain information about your hardware".

how can i manually install the drivers, overriding this message.

im sorry im not too good with computers . just kno enuf to get by

Just run the install program and ignore warnings and messages that Windows shows you. How does Windows stop you?

Which drivers?
In the device manager, select the appropriate hardware and from the properties of the device, press update driver. This will prompt u to the location where the driver is situated (Drive location where the driver software is available)

Open the bonnet stand away from the windows and put it near the distributor cap

As long as you're POSITIVE that it's the proper driver, just right-click on the .inf file, and select "Install", then reboot.
