I Have a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. I have used it on my Dell Inspiron 8300 in the past with no problems. Now when i plug in the mouse, the pointer disappears. It still registers it's there. I can still click with it and it works, I just can't see where the pointer is. Device manager says its working fine. Any ideas?

have you checked the batteries?

check your mouse settings in the control panel...especially if the pointer only disappears when you're typing something (to which you will have to uncheck that setting)

well, you should check your mouse settings in control panel or show it to a good computer engineer
