I have a 256 Flash Drive and used it many times before. Now it is asking me if I want to format it. I checked the properties and it shows that the flash drive is full. I have information on it that I need to get from it and I am not able to. How would I go about doing this without formatting the flash drive. I am using Windows XP, so this should not have been a problem. I have another flash drive and it works great still. Please let me know. Thank you

Am trying to transfer my drive content to a new drive and using it as the new master drive. My question is whether using Norton Ghost, Aloha Bob or Western Digital Data Lifeguard software, does it have to be the same size drive? If not , will the unused portion of the new drive be unuseable (ex. 20gb to 300gb) or vise versa?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1200; I upgraded the RAM to 1 GB, but the total memory is only 25 GB. I have an 80GB external Hard drive attached, and when I download programs, I tell them to load to the external drive, which on my computer is drive E;, but half the time they go to drve C: anyway. I then try and move them to the external hard drive but sometimes they will not allow themselves to be moved, or if they do move, sometimes they are messed up and either do not work at all or work improperly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

The light on the power button blinks, as does the light on the back of the power supply, but nothing else happens. Is this a power supply problem or is it more likely I have a different problem?

Addtional details: About two weeks ago, lightning surge through my cable system fried my cable modem, two TVs, and a VCR. I wasn't able to configure my new cable modem for the Ethernet connection and had to use the USB port.
