I already have the router, wireless card and all that good stuff.

Go to Best Buy and sign up for yahoo dsl or some other ISP. Buy a wireless router ($129 but comes with rebates). Wait a week for the service to be installed and follow the step by step instructions on the router to intall it AFTER the service is activated. Then go on your computer and, with windows XP, look at the bottom right of the sreen for a computer sreen with waves comming out. Find your service and enter a WEP key from the router. Hope this helps.

If you already have a wirless router and network card installed...then just find the wireless internet button or choose the option under Connect To in the Start Menu, and detect networks refresh them and connect.

Need a bit more i nformation to help step by step.
a. does your laptop have wireless installed?
if not get a pcmcia wireless card.
b. do you have a wireless router already?
More information will help you get a better response;)
