I was wondering since my friends always tell me that my computer always runs slow because I have many items on my desktop, I think It's just my 333MHZ processor. I keep my computer well maintainted, there are no viruses, adware or spyware, and I have software to clean out cookies and temp files, and I occasionally defragment. If I deleted some stuff will it make the computer run any faster? Oh and I only have about 5 things that run at start up, Norton antivirus, Spyware doctor, WinampAgent, and some windows thingy, and that's it. What could it be?

I have a TV Tuner that came with my HP ZD8000 that I don't know much about. I'm trying to hook up my camcorder to my tv tuner then record the video from my camcorder onto my laptop then burn it to a DVD. I know there must be a way but I can't figure it out. The camcorder is a Sharp Hi-8 type camcorder. Can anyone offer any help pretty please ?

my speakers are Cyber Acoustics CA-2012 and i have a Compaq Presario with windows XP, its says i have no sound device even though my speakers are plugged in, i gues i need a driver but I have no idea what one or how to do it. some one please help me, i know nothing about computers so please explain very clearly. Well this last post was answered with some stupidity. I have had thunder-flies running around in my monitor that had died in the screen. They can be removed. I would suggest you take it to someone who has the facilities to take it apart. These units are not sealed. The panels are made of a glass front for the Liquid Crystal and a back lit panel. The flies are in between these parts. I have personally removed flies from my own monitor. It's a tricky little job so don't attempt it if your not sure what your doing. Take it to PC world or something and demand they do it. They will refuse I'm sure saying it's sealed, but they are not. If they were how did the little guys get in there? The screen panel itself (Inside the case) has a metal surround that can be popped off then gently remove the front glass the flies will be on the Backlit panel. remove them with a cleaning stick (like a cotton bud, but don't use a cotton bud.Fibers) don't touch the inside of the glass reassemble.

New pc, self built, running xp sp2, new everything, when i start up the pc and windows goes to log in my monitor reads "disconnected", i am running it at 1280x1024 witch video card and monitor both supports and it starts up under safe mode and enable VGA but no other way, the pc does not heat upand all connections look good, i have yet to find anything in bios or installed software that could have gone wrong PLEASE help this is very annoying
