First of all, 256MB isn't nearly enough for a flash drive, and it DEFINITELY isn't enough for an MP3 player. (I have 3 MP3 players, and 512MB isn't enough for me.) Here's 237 different MP3/MP4 (video) players: http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCategory.asp?SubCategory=23 I really like that little 1GB Fuji, especially for the price. Also, nearly every "normal" MP3 player will function as a flash drive. The Fuji does, for instance.

I would recommend buying a separate MP3 player. Why? Are you really gonna want to delete all of your music (and playlists) off of your flash drive or MP3 player, just to use it for transferring files? And lastly, all USB flash drives are the same. Just get the cheapest one, it will last just as long. Here are the two brands I would choose from-- A-Data: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Brand=2135&N=2000170522+50002135&Submit=ENE&Manufactory=2135&SubCategory=522 and PQI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Brand=2135&N=2000170522+50002135&Submit=ENE&Manufactory=2135&SubCategory=522

I suggest you buy 1GB MP3 player. However if you are looking for a 256MB flash drive, try T.sonic 510 from Transcend. :)

I am sure that you can get it from a nearby shop.
