Is your equipment power turn-on? You need power to eject the cd-rom.
You can manually eject the cd-rom by using a needle or pin. Locate a small hole on the face of the cd-rom drive and carefully push the pin into the small hole. You can do this with the equipment power-off. Presto!

Probably the gears or whatnot that push it out are frickackta. I had a CD drive that did the same thing and I would just snag my fingernail under the front edge of the "door" and apply a slight pull to it and the thing would engage and come out. A nuisance at best. I never poke into tiny holes like that; pulling on the sucker worked fine.

Usually when something like this happens I grab the offending item and heave it with gusto against the nearest wall. That usually helps. I have a new CD drive now and the problem is solved.

First of all check your connection to cd rom (powersupply specially) if ok then, i hope u can notice a small hole next to the eject button of cd rom, to open the cd rom on urgent basis put a needel in that hole to pull out the tray (thats temporary dont repeat it frequently or will damage your cd rom). any ways it would need some repaing to be done, actually it needs cleaning and bit arrangment .

hope it helps.

Try sticking a small thin pin into a tiny (literally invisible) hole on the front of the cd rom tray. You could use a paper click. Push the pin in the hole and it should pop out. Good luck :)

Thanks,
Sanjay

Dear, it need to be repaired by a good technician or take it to the LG authorised repair centre. And never purchase a LG cd drive, the same problem is frequent in LG.

I had the same problem. You can fix this by always leaving a CD in your unit. A new one is cheap (15$ where I live) so I suggest you buy a new 1 coz it's not worth trying to fix the old 1.

the first question i will provide to you is did you position contained in the appliance for the CD ROM? then in case you probably did not you'll might want to get the appliance from the guy to procure the CD ROM from. yet in case you probably did then what you want to do is reinstall the drivers for the CD ROM or bypass on-line and receive the drivers from the producer of the CD ROM.

It's obviously stuck.
Take it to the shop.

Or, perhaps, use a blunt instrument and try to wegde it open. But this'll probably damage the drive, so be v. careful.

Or, using windows media player, use the 'eject' function. this sometimes works.
