OK let me try this agian, My desktop pc's motherboard went kuput. so i had them remove the HD w/ xp on it and put it in a external enclosure. I hav a laptop w/ ME on it and am trying to use them together. I do not want to reformat the external w/ xp on it because it has everything on it,,pics music ect...can i not use them together??

Please help . My computer went kaput (MB). Well i had them (Computerpeople) put the HD in an external HD case so i could still use it, well ive hooked it up and it downloaded the drivers and said it needs formated.??? what excactly does formatted mean? cause it says format type,
(quick )erase, or
full
I donot wanna erase the HD it has everything on it,pics music,ya know so please tell me what to do..

What is difference between DVR-R and DVD+R? I have DVD-R and burned movie on the computer but I does not play?
I have DVD-R discs and burned movie on the computer but I does not play on the Laptop which is 2 years old ( Toshiba) but can play on Laptop of my friend (SONY VAIO).

My computer manual says I need an AGP card which is 1.5V or below and that it will support up to AGP 8X. I am looking at this video card: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814127164

Where does the power cord plug into? It says it comes with a power cord? There is no mention of power cords for AGP video cards in my computer's manual. I cannot call for technical support, please help.

Ive used apps like Bryce before and it took forever to render anything, even on my fastest PC (Pent III, 3 Mhz, 512 RAM...). I know there are many factors, but can someone give me some advice? Maybe what kind of graphics card with how much memory, etc.? Or is it only practical to render on a network? THANK YOU!!!

i have a pentium 3 with a 866mhz processor and 512mb ram,160gb hdd,radeon 9550(128mb),unknown soundcard(i think its a soundblaster pci ?),and i am wondering what would be the ideal soundcard and videocard upgrade,bear in mind i only use it for internet usage and photo editing so speed is not essential
also what is the best graphic card(agp)for my games machine (pentium 4,1gbram,realteck audio,200gb hdd,radeon 9700 graphic card(256mb)),i look to improve it and have a budget of £75 to £125,any ideas
