I have one, a G35-600 and love it. I bought it because I wanted a desktop replacement. Yeah its big, yeah its powerful, yeah its fast. Battery life isn't that great and it's heavier that most others out there. If you're going to be lugging the thing on airplanes all the time I'd say no. But I take to and from the office with me and its fine. I bought the Toshiba backpack that will hold it and just put my Ipaq and everything else in there with it.

Not a laptop, it is a portable desktop replacement.

It has awsome options on it, my favorite being dual drives in a RAID 0 configuration so you can run them twice as fast.

Itr is pricey, heavy, and short battery life though. But I still like it!

Overpriced comes to mind along with poor battery life. But it's a powerful machine, no argument there.
