My computer manual says I need an AGP card which is 1.5V or below and that it will support up to AGP 8X. I am looking at this video card: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814127164

Where does the power cord plug into? It says it comes with a power cord? There is no mention of power cords for AGP video cards in my computer's manual. I cannot call for technical support, please help.

Many newer computers have power supplies which have a power connector for the AGP card. On the product you selected above, providing you have an AGP slot the card will work fine. It comes with an adapter (this is the power cable) that will connect to a power connector between your power supply and CD-ROM drive or an open power connector.

The plug goes to one of your spare "molex" power connectors that attaches to the power pack, and then to the cooling fan port on the AGP video card. The card that you have chosen has a fan to cool the video chip down. Some cards have a heat sink only for this purpose.
